Professional Background
Clinical Experience
I have been working with patients since 2017 across a range of clinic- and hospital-based settings. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami, where I specialized in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine with a concentration in Quantitative Psychology.

I completed my clinical internship (residency) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School in the Behavioral Medicine Program of the Department of Psychiatry. Prior clinical training includes the Miami VA Medical Center and the University of Miami Trauma Treatment Program.

A Leader in Evidence-Based Treatments
For the past several years I have held leadership positions in national and international conferences. In these roles, I am involved in reviewing, organizing, and presenting the most cutting-edge research in CBT and behavior change. Because of these roles and my own research, I am well-versed in the latest developments in evidence-based treatments. My roles are:

Research
My research focuses on global mental health and public health, specifically on psychosocial interventions for people living with HIV and co-occurring conditions in South Africa. I have received funding as Principal Investigator from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and other sources.
